Week 2
F1 have settled wonderfully into the new academic year and are beginning to feel confident and happy in their new environment. The children are starting to understand and follow their daily routines, helping them to develop independence. They are also getting to know their classmates and are beginning to learn and remember their peers' names. Throughout the week, we have been practising our listening skills through stories, songs and group activities. The children have enjoyed singing together, engaging in imaginative play, and learning how to share and take turns with others. They have particularly enjoyed exploring playdough, developing their fine motor skills while creating a variety of shapes and models. The children have also been busy creating self-portraits, which are now proudly displayed in our classroom gallery for everyone to admire. It has been lovely to see new friendships forming as they continue to grow in confidence and become familiar with school life.
