The children have had another lovely week in FS1. In phonics, we have been learning the nursery rhyme "Down at the Station" and enjoying joining in with the words and actions. We have also been clapping and counting syllables in words, helping the children to hear and identify the different parts of a word.

We have been talking about what we like and why. The children enjoyed sharing their interests with their friends and listening carefully to others. It was wonderful to hear their ideas, build confidence when speaking, and learn more about the things that are important to them
