We love mark making and writing

FS2 are really enjoying completing lots of mark making activities. This is important to strengthen our pencil grip and support with our early writing skills! It has been wonderful to see the children enjoyind drawing and really concentrating. They have enjoyed creating 'Colour Monster' pictures to represent the different emotions in the story. 'The Colour Monster' has been our focus story the past 3 weeks. They have also loved to draw linked to their interests - this has includes 'cats' and 'my family'. 

The children are showing more focus during our handwriting sessions. Please do use the letter formation phrases sent home last week to support this at home.
