Learning and fun in FS1

In FS1, over the past week, we have been very busy talking about where we live and who lives in our house. We have also been reading ‘The Colour Monster’ story and identifying lots of different emotions. We had lots of fun acting out the different emotions and spotting new ones.

In phonics we have been identifying different animal sounds to help develop our listening skills and making our mouths and voices make different sounds and shapes as part of our tuning into sounds work.

We have also been learning and singing lots of different nursery rhymes. Here is a link to some you could practice at home if you would like to show off your skills.
