Keeping Busy

Date: 4th Apr 2020 @ 10:55am

Hi Year 2,

I have Archie at home with me at the minute and it is lovely to spend extra time with him. However, we both get fed up in the house quite easily. So we have trying to keep busy just like you and fill our days with a mixture of fun things. So I thought I would share with you some of the things we have been up to this week and other things we have planned for next week.

As well as his doing his home school work, two of the activities Archie enjoyed the most this week were baking (licking the bowl was his favourite!) and making our own milk bottle Elmer the elephant. It was really easy to do and we both really enjoyed it. Why not give it a go with one of your left over milk bottles!

Don't forget exercise is important too and we have tried to get out on a short local walk (bike ride for Archie) most days. (remember the 2m rule though)

Next week we are going to have a go at making our own milk bottle bird house/feeder that I have seen on the internet. I will post on here when we have done it.

I really miss you all Year 2 and it is lovely to have messaged with some of you on PurpleMash.

Stay safe everyone!

Sending big hugs to you and all your families.
