Historical artefacts

This afternoon the children thought about how we have been able to learn about the ancient Egyptians. They looked at pictures of different artefacts and how we could use these to learn more about them. We also watched a video of a new sarcophagus discovery (which started lots of interesting questions about mummification!) 

The children were then asked to focus on one artefact and think about what they could find out about the Egyptians from looking at it.
