Habitats

Yesterday, Year 2 went into the school grounds looking for microhabitats. We have been looking at different kinds of habitats and why some animals are better suited to a habitat than others. After researching some microhabitats, We were hoping to find minibeasts hiding in and around them to tick off on our list! We were a little bit disappointed as they proved difficult to find, however some of the budding scientists realised this may be because it was very dry and so not the right conditions for these creatures!
