Fantastic start

The children have settled in so well into our routines. We have worked on the following since starting:

• Finding our new pegs and putting our bags and coats on them
• Taking off our own shoes, putting them away and finding our slippers by ourselves
• Following the rule of 'Choose it, Use it, Put it away when accessing our provision both indoors and outdoors
• Being kind and gentle to our friends and adults
• Listening carefully to instructions and following them

It is really important we foster independence. We have been impressed with lots of children who have already gained confidence and becoming more independent already. 

We have just started our Phonics sessions and these will now continue daily. Phonics homework will be sent next week on Friday linked to our phonics focus in class. Maths sessions and handwriting will also start from next week. 

Well done to our fanastic FS2 children, we are so proud of them and how they have settled in!
