Diwali

We have been learning about Diwali this week in the EYFS Unit. The children have gained a lot of knowledge about the festival. Children have made comments throughout the week about what they have learned. These include: 

"Diwali is the festival of light"

"People light Diva lamps at Diwali"

"Sometimes there are fireworks, it's like Bonfire Night"

"To celebrate people dress up in party clothes and clean their houses"
