Art - Splatter painting

Following on from our study of Brian Wildsmith, we are starting to explore some of the techniques he used that make his paintings recogniseable. One of these techniques is splatter painting....so we put on our aprons and had a go with different sized brushes and toothbrushes. The children loved this art session and can't wait to create a finished piece of work incorporating this technique! 

P.S. The paint we use is ready mix paint that is child safe and meant to be washable!
