Andy Goldsworthy Art in Year 1

We have had the most fantastic time in Art this term. We have been learning all about the sculptor Andy Goldsworthy and other sculptors inspired by him. 

Andy Goldsworthy is a Yorkshire artist, now based in Scotland, known for his sculptures and photography. He is an environmentalist, which is someone who wants to protect the environment around them.

Andy makes sculptures with natural materials on sites in the UK and around the world. He has made them in forests, fields, cities, lakes and fields. They are known as land art.

Year 1 have had a wonderful time creating their own land art.
