Pencil control practice

The children in Foundation Stage 1 have been building their early writing and fine‑motor skills through a range of pencil control activities. They have been practising making marks and patterns using pencils, exploring careful brush movements with watercolours, and developing pre‑writing skills through tactile mark‑making in sand trays. These activities have helped strengthen hand muscles, improve coordination, and build confidence in their early mark‑making abilities.
