Egyptian History to Life Day

What a fantastic day Year 3 have had learning all about the Ancient Egyptians. They have learnt about who they were, investigated artefacts and materials used. They looked at mummification and played the Egyptian games Mehen and Seega. They have learnt about hieroglyphics letters and numbers and had a go at being an Egyptian Scribe. They then used a reed pen and ink to create their own Hieroglyph cartouche. Finally, they learnt about the nature of warfare, invasions and weapons that the Egyptians used.
