To link in with our topic of predators the children were able to see and meet some real life predators today. They saw 2 different species of owl and a hawk, which some of them even got to hold! They learned some new things about these birds and were able to see them fly across the room. The hawk even flew over the class at one point whilst they were lying down so we could get a 'worms eye view' of the birds in flight.
You might like to ask them something about what they discovered today. I wonder if the children can remember how to tell the difference between a male and female Barn Owl?
